THE Studio is a cutting-edge facility that empowers individuals of all skill levels to produce professional media content by seamlessly blending presentations with graphics, text and audio with your video.
This dedicated space offers soundproof video and audio recording capabilities, ensuring high-quality production and is free for Ohio State health sciences students and faculty. The lightboard allows presenters to "draw on the screen" so viewers can experience engaging instruction while still seeing the presenter. THE Studio sets the stage for creating impactful and visually-rich multimedia, catering to a wide range of educational needs and enhancing the overall content creation experience.
Reserve THE Studio for Your Recording Needs
To use this multi-media zone, the individual who books time in the space must attend the Introduction to THE Studio workshop with our ETI Coordinator. Workshops are typically held once a month, and after you attend once, you can book The Studio whenever the space is free.
Common Scenarios for Recording
- Create videos for professors to introduce themselves to new students for the semester, and give a brief overview of the course they are teaching.
- Create videos for physicians to introduce themselves to new patients
- Record a series of instructional videos for online classes or supplemental learning
